"Our government collects far too little in taxes for what it spends. There is no choice but to raise taxes soon and rein in spending." Which, I have total confidence Obama will do when he is able. He will if he isn't denied a second term. Which I think he will be. The man was elected under false pretenses, and that's why he's in so much political trouble. Those of us who were paying attention knew what he was up to, but the young people were clueless and some purportedly smart people like Michael got sucked in by him. The liberal economists (i.e., the economists who don't understand economics) all want tax increases. The more intelligent ones realize that tax increases will kill any hope of the economy coming back.
