I recently traveled to some asian countries, one scene I cannot forget that a dirt poor street garbage collector using his cell phone keep talking and ignore all the horning while driving the dray crossing the busy traffic. I sat in the cab and my deep thought is that we American really contribute to the benefits of so many livings:

We invent chip.
We invent the cellphone.
We invent and provide the best of the internet, router, and database.
Windows and MAc sum up to 95% of PC's OS.
We invent manufacture assembly line which is totally adopted by asian manufacturing engine.
We invent fast food.
...
and not to mention we invent coke and jean.

So we have some (business) goodie to brag to the world while we have been hearing all the negative news regarding meltdown. <G>
