Chip, Take your fear tactics someplace else. If you can substantiate why you feel LIPO is a loser and explain yourself in an intelligent manner, please do. It is always good to see the opposite side of a coin. But in the meantime, if your existence as a person is dependent on producing ridicule and fear into others, I suggest you take it someplace else.
A major loser is a biotech company that continually provides hype and promises, has a sh**ty management team, has absolutely a second rate science team and has virtually nothing going for it. If you press me, I can name a few that have gone years with nothing to show for it.
The last time I looked, LIPO has a drug that is at least generating approx. 50-60 million in revenue, another in Phase III testing and supposedly has a few things in preclinical development. I might add, this was their first drug proposed for approval. Somewhat impressive in light of the challenges in this industry.
I recall everyone slammed Centocor when its Sepsis Shock drug failed. Individuals like yourself were slamming the company and creating the fear that CNTO was doomed. It was doomed in the minds of the uninformed. The informed were aware of CNTO's pipeline and science.
I am not here to say that LIPO will continue the path of CNTO, but I do not think that they are going to go away very soon. That question will probably be answered in a year's time.
