If I read things correctly, NGD management has said that everything was properly in place from an administrative standpoint.

I am no expert on Mexican law, but there is a deep disconnect between what NGD management stated and what the court has done which is to order the Mexican equivalent of the EPA to shut Cerro San Pedro down.

I read the decision to preclude any further appeals. As a lawyer, I always put little stock in statements like that since there is always something that can be done.

I haven't sold, trying to sift through all this, which is highly complex. I have given NGD the benefit of the doubt until the smoke clears. And a good thing it is as NGD had a nice bounce today, but damned if I know if it means anything.
