If it was a one time thing, that would be something else. But nothing has changed with structural issues, so it is a long term problem.

The stimulus was by no means a one time shot in the arm. It is just a seed money of a built up of higher future spending, worse structural problems.

And that does not even include the health "reform". What is killing the federal budget are the Medicare and Medicaid costs. Obama is going to greatly increase the scope of these problems.
