don't know what the hell that means, it sounds to me like Jesus is advocating armed robbery, but I can show you any number of sayings of Jesus that contradict it. Is it in ANY of the other Gospels? I think you're reading into it what you want to see - which is possible with a LOT of parables. It's part of the sales job - like with astrological readings.

He is asking them to go out and buy as sword for their planned trip to the garden where he was arrested. But they said they already have two swords. He wanted the swords for self defense. It was not a parable, it was the story of what actually happened the Thursday before Good Friday.
