I wouldn't discount it entirely, but I need a lot more verification before I take it seriously. Who knows what's in Ft. Knox, I've assumed it was nothing but OddJob's decomposing corpse and cobwebs for some time....but proving it is another kettle of fish. US gold reserves were leased forward then sold and are probably hanging on the earlobes of Indian peasants.

From a practical standpoint, although the specific gravity is identical between tungsten and gold, the melting point of gold is far lower. It should be easy for a refiner (for example) to tell the difference.

Maybe they should be biting those gold bars, like the old miners used to do with coins to see if they were real....<G>
