Well, except that Bush's actions turned out to be right.
The major criticism of Bush throughout his administration was the Iraq War. Yet, the Iraq War turned out to be a very sound, correct decision. Some of us realized it up front, while other less knowledgeable people (you, Al, tejek, RW) continue to argue with the strategy to this day. The fact is the Iraq war was the right thing to have done, and this is now clear.
However, the UN is a democracy
Oh, nonsense. Tell that to the NAM. Tell that to Japan who wants, and can't get, a seat at the table. Tell that to the United States, which lives under a current threat of veto from Russia or China. Tell that to Israel, against which the UN has been totally biased since its outset.
The UN is a democracy? I recommend you go do a little research on the UN because you obviously haven't the slightest notion how it works (or doesn't work, more correctly).
