MicroProse explores the Klingon Empire in a new
first-person title based on the Unreal engine
Progress:1st look
This will be the second Star Trek title that uses the Unreal engine,
with the first being the PC version of First Contact. In this title players begin as a warrior in training under the watchful eye of Worf's brother Kurn. When a training mission is interrupted by an attack on the High Council. From that point players join an adventure that takes them through level after level of Star Trek locals.
Gameplay is based on the Unreal engine, and much of the action is in a
first person view. This action takes place over seven different worlds
including environments such as space stations, starships, and
land-based cities. These worlds are split up into 15 levels, each with its own distinctive look.
Player can choose from 9 separate weapons to use against their foe.
Whether it is a wimpy human disruptor, or the honorable Klingon
bat'leth, each weapon in Klingon Honor Guard is right at home in the
Star Trek Universe.
Multiplayer options will be included for large Klingon free-for-alls.
Modem, LAN and Internet support is included in the multiplayer mode
