I wish I noticed this red flag in the day. The guy who started this thread in 1996 was Robert Smith.

Probably the same Robert Smith that was a member of their board of directors............

The number of board members will be six.

Smith is a managing director of Smith & Crowley Inc., a boutique

investment banking firm specializing in banks and financial service companies in California. Prior to forming Smith & Crowley, Smith was chairman of the board and CEO of Security Pacific Bank and served at the bank for 31 years.

In 1992, he officiated in the merger of Security Pacific Bank and the Bank of America. Smith is a member of the Boards of Directors of the Southern California Edison Company, Pinkerton Security and Investigation Services, J.G. Boswell Company and Oasis Residential Inc.
