To all,

I've been an ANCOR stockholder for over a year and I have obviously run the emotional gamet with this stock! I think that we are
letting our emotions get to us a little bit. Of course, it's frustating but nothing has really changed. This is a news-driven story stock. The fact that earnings were below concensus and forcasts were conservative is not important. Better earnings would be great but are not required to move this stock. Fibre Channel will be huge in time. Announcements of contracts will move this stock even if that product doesn't ship in a particular quarter.
I liken this stock to AMATI, in that, its just a matter of time until this industry explodes. AMATI has negative earnings and is trading at 13-18. ADSL is just further ahead of the curve in telecommunications than FC-AL is in networking/storage. Wall Street will not place massive bets in ANCR until the industry shows more growth (which it's starting to ie. SEG,CPQ,SUNW, etc.) AND this company shows that it is a player with OEM's, contracts, ect.
Just because Ken was saying MKII would not ship in volume until summer '98, does not mean the stock won't be at 30 when it does!

IMHO
