>>> The FBI knew about Hasan when Bush was president. Its Bush's problem.

Of course it was. EVERYTHING bad is Bush's fault, EVERYTHING good is Obama's fault. We know how it works.

I have not seen a specific date at which FBI became aware of this and I don't believe it has been published, so I'm not where you got this (hint: If it is DailyKOS or HuffPo or other liberal nutcase blog, you might want to get a more reliable source).

The reality is that Bush recognized FBI for what it is -- a law enforcement agency with relatively little influence when acts of war are involved (which this was). FBI is fine for investigating crimes, but as we found out on 9/11 when you leave the FBI to fight the war on terror, you leave yourself wide open.

Under Bush, there was not this attitude that we can't confront terrorism. And that's basically where the problem is here -- political correctness that has been present, but has totally gone nuts since January.

Until there is some evidence to the contrary, I will blame Obama on this. He is the man who has set the nation on a course of allowing terrorists to strike us at will.
