Hannity demagoguery!! Bill would be similar to Mass and many European states... And it says if you are below a certain level of income, the feds will aid you... I have been trying to select a new insurance plan for next year based on Medicare which narrows the selection greatly....it's a total nightmare to separate the little footnotes and nuances of each companies plans.....can you imagine if the whole country were given all the plans in the country to decide....you goobers would just throw a dart at a list and get screwed... I have narrowed my research to just 3 offered by IBM and still haven't sorted it out... I've been getting help calls the last two weeks from all sorts of people.....most will simply take what they had last year even though most have changed significantly. You think you hear complaints about the complexity of the IRS?? That why the public option is needed...Medicare is well run and honest in its presentation. And prices are going up rapidly now without public option...when people begin to switch to it, insurance co's will have to lower prices and make them simpler to understand or lose them....
