of those, I've been to Napa Valley Grill, Locanda del Lago (good Italian), Fins, McCormick & Schmicks, Nick & Stef's, and Smeraldi's, and would recommend any of them.
I've heard good things about Bottega Louie, and Lawry's is an institution but a good one, a classic old-school prime rib place (although I confess I've only been for meetings, never dinner).
The only one on that list that I recognize and probably pass on is the Proud Bird, it's an LAX restaurant where you can watch the planes come and go (noisy), and check out vintage planes on display, but their food gets mixed reviews. |
