Bring ALL the troops home from Iraq and Afghanistan -- it costs close to ONE MILLION tax dollars each year for every troop member in those combat zones...Sorta crazy to continue those multi-billion dollar wars when we have so many hungry Americans, when we have so many millions of Americans without ANY health care coverage, when we are not funding our infrastructure upgrades properly, and when we have so much debt as a country. The bottom line is that we can NOT afford the blood and treasure it will cost to continue the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan - and I have not seen a persuasive case about why we still need to be in those countries. No credible foreign policy expert has convinced me that it's mission critical to stay in Iraq or Afghanistan any longer.
