You guys? I assume you mean the Dems? Even that is false information. The blame for the nuclear power freeze in this country can be laid at 3-mile island and America's misguided fears. The GOP hasn't done much to get this industry going again either. But to be fair, Obama and the Dems aren't very friendly to nuclear power either.

At any rate, I've been for nuclear power my entire life. I'm 49, and the first time in my life that I voted Dem was in 2004, when I voted for Kerry. Even then, I voted straight ticket Republican for all the Congressional seats open at that time. Then in 2008, I voted Obama and straight ticket Dem. We'll see how I vote in 2010 and beyond. It depends on whether I get what I want. Renewable energy legislation. But then again, if I vote GOP, I will be guaranteed no action on renewable energy, because they don't even believe action is necessary. So they aren't really a choice anymore for me. Maybe a centrist or Independent party will arise with practical members that want to solve problems and prepare this country for the future by investing in new growth industries like renewable energy.
