She dropped out before completing grade 10.

I really believe kids subconciously look around when they hit puberty and decide how they want to go. They are influenced by what we do, not what we say, and we have little control after that age.

My oldest two were school oriented and my youngest wanted out from 6th grade on. He quit at grade 10 and ended up getting his GED in the Navy.

Must have been tough for you. I would have had a lot harder time with a daughter drop-out than my son.
