wild, I saw that too, it seems that whatever caused the crash in spot prices to sub $3 late last week has been rectified. The only thing I can think of is that there was a lot of previously shut-in gas that was coming back online early this month, and maybe the sudden influx of all that new production temporarily threw the storage operators out of whack.

Its encouraging that the December futures contract, by & large, did not follow this blip in the spot price. Still, even with the spot price recovering we are looking at about a $1 gap between spot and futures, which normally would be expected to be closed somehow by the close of next Wednesday's trading. Another "wildandwonderful" week coming up for natty traders, what else is new. <g>
