The GOP isn't the party it was, even 20 years ago. It's totally controlled by it's 30% crazy, social-values base now. The wealthy and coprporates that formerly controlled it are struggling, but it clearly looks like they've lost.

The evidence is that, after NY-23, the GOP isn't going to fund ANY races until AFTER the primaries, which gives the "Conservative Party" candidates a MUCH better chance than they would have had previously.
