I think the 2Mbs, 6Mbs, and 10Mbs DSL product have a much better
chance.

By no means am I CRockwell&reg supporter, but I would like to point out that both US West and PacBell have over the last two days announced DSL services that are priced according to how much bandwith you want. From the pricing structure they set out the masses would be signing up for 196kbps to 300-400kbps as that bandwith range is affordably (to a point) priced. DSL is nice but Cable is currently beating it and is definately priced for the masses in mind. It is nice to know COMS manufactures cable modems.
