So your less than expert contention is that it would have created jobs, mine is that it would have had no effect whatsoever and that the problem is far too ingrained and complex to be solved with lollipop and tired GOP cut tax policies. That's what bush did twice and look where it landed us.

In less than 3 decades I have lived in this country, we have gone through about 6 "worst crisis since depression"...

So have I...my account differs from yours.

All you need to do is look at Medicare and Medicaid spending, as percentage of GDP. It put the country on a crash course.

I am tired of arguing this point with you guys. Medicare/aid are zero sum games. The cost is there regardless of how it's paid for. Like I said, quit bitching and solve something...anything.
