Thank you to the unknown person that recced my last post for he/she recognizes the importance of minerals in and for our society..
For without minerals, we would still be back in the stone age and couldn't be communicating now..
And that would be a detriment to any relationship between ALL the different societies in the world....
But anyway, I found more old samples/pieces of Comstock ores below one of the first mills in the district, now long gone after a few years of operation in the 1860's.. They were hauled down there..
So I have found these chunks of hi-grade, with the permission of the current owner?, I think.. At least with one of the most influential members, in my mind, of our local community.. A family that has ranched the area since the 1870's and owned most if not all of it since then..
A family that the FAKE "Cartright family" or from the "Bonanza series" WOULD have put to shame
So that was good enough for me.. :) He told me, "What the Hell is wrong with screwing around with a mineral detector along the creek, just like a fishing pole, where everyone has access to the high water mark?..
When we "had" to sell to developers but now nobody knows a damn thing like us about who owns what..
Such a great family with a super tradition, just a GOOD, decent ranching family just wanting to, "live and let let live"
But anyway, I think these are the silver minerals we have identified...
