neolib, the problem that many fail to realize that a just government is impossible. the truth is that communism didn't fail - it was never attempted. the truth is that capitalism didn't fail - it was never attempted. the powerful seek to increase their power and wealth in whatever system exists... making said system null and void. it isn't that regulation didn't exist - it did. bill clinton and the republican congress dismantled said regulation in order to increase their personal power, wealth and pay off people they consider their friends (who happen to be criminals and financial terrorists of such prestige that osama bin laden is jealous!). the powerful aren't interested in justice. they are interested in their own self interest. a good con man never tells the con up front - and neither do these con men and women.
