So your less than expert contention is that it would have created jobs, mine is that it would have had no effect whatsoever

Created jobs? What planet are you living on. When the country is bleeding jobs, you want to stop the bleeding. And yes, it would have stopped the bleeding.

Do you know the last straw that breaks the camel's back is - as far as when small company closes its doors? When they don't have enough money to pay the tax witholdings. And that is my expert advise.

and that the problem is far too ingrained and complex to be solved with lollipop and tired GOP cut tax policies.

What I was suggesting is not a tax cut, but a temporary suspension of FICA tax collection - as an alternative to the stimulus.

Now that we know what a debacle the stimulus has turned out, I thought you would be open to alternatives that might have worked better - but I guessed wrong ....

I am tired of arguing this point with you guys. Medicare/aid are zero sum games. The cost is there regardless of how it's paid for. Like I said, quit bitching and solve something...anything.

????

I must have missed that post of wisdom. It's not that I, the GOP or the Dems have any solution to the runaway train that is Madicare/aid.

The best I can think of is not to whole new fleet of runaway trains, and instead, figure out the one on our hands now...
