I accept that when the government spends money it is part of GDP. I do not accept that such spending, is healthy for the economy.

It makes no difference. When the government is borrowing the money it spends and you are already in so much debt lenders don't want to lend you anymore, it is not a good thing that the only GDP growth is a result of THAT spending.

You don't bolster the credibility of your argument when you end every post with a statement such as this. Most everyone recognizes it isn't so simple that you can just say, "Oh, yeah, Bush caused it, Obama fixed it". Doesn't work like that and you look foolish suggesting it does.
