Created jobs? What planet are you living on. When the country is bleeding jobs, you want to stop the bleeding. And yes, it would have stopped the bleeding. Earth...you? In case you have too busy listening to AM radio, we lost 700K jobs in January when the president took office....we lost 240000 in october...that's an improvement of 500K jobs a month. Now that we know what a debacle the stimulus has turned out, I thought you would be open to alternatives that might have worked better - but I guessed wrong .... We know no such thing...we know only what extreme pundits and politicos would want us to subscribe to. The only thing we know for sure however is that this administration is having to address an uncommonly deep recession, handed to them by 8 years of GOP mismanagement. It's not that I, the GOP or the Dems have any solution to the runaway train that is Madicare/aid. Then quit saying that it put the country on a crash course etc..etc.. Medical cost to care for the elders exists no matter how it's paid for. Unless you have a better idea, i suggest that you quit bellyaching about it. Al
