Earth...you? In case you have too busy listening to AM radio, we lost 700K jobs in January when the president took office....we lost 240000 in october...that's an improvement of 500K jobs a month.

I see. If the saviour himself did not bring about this improvement, the country was bound to lose all the jobs, as the country would have lost 750k jobs per month until there was no one working. Is that the basis you are starting from?

We know no such thing...we know only what extreme pundits and politicos would want us to subscribe to.

No, I go by what Obama told us. That there would be 3M new jobs. Instead, there were job losses of apparently 3M. That's a 6M swing from promise to delivery. I would call this Keystone Cops.

BTW, the numbers are actually worse, since the productive jobs in the private sector were lost at faster rate, and there were new non-productive government jobs. A government job is a net minus, as far as prosperity of a nation is concerned.

The only thing we know for sure however is that this administration is having to address an uncommonly deep recession, handed to them by 8 years of GOP mismanagement.

How long are you guys going to be wimps, giving these excuses? When will you men up to the mess your guy is creating? In November 2001, it was Bush economy. i don't recall every speech complaining about Clinton / Gore equity market collapse Bush inherited.

re: the runaway train that is Madicare/aid.

Then quit saying that it put the country on a crash course etc..etc..

I see, closing our eyes to it is the solution.

Medical cost to care for the elders exists no matter how it's paid for. Unless you have a better idea, i suggest that you quit bellyaching about it.

I am bellyaching about this because Medicare seems like an unsolvable problem. Rather than putting 100% of energy in trying to find solution to it, Obama has taken this broken system as a model and is about to extended to the entire population. If you think we have problems now (and you don't because you are obviously oblivious to it), when the current problem is multiplied by factor of 5 or more, what do you think will happen?
