Those old refrigerators are so darned reliable. The same friend I was mentioning to Smooth has one of those ancient kinds in her garage as a back up. It has to be 30 years old and just keeps chugging away.

It looks a lot like this only I think it is even older. Has one of those little metal freezer boxes inside that always ices up.



We bought a cheapo at Lowes for up at the cabin property in '03 but the river destroyed it in the flood of '06. Motor still worked, but it just wouldn't get cold. Guess it was because we found it upside down in the neighbor's driveway?
