That is the entire point. How much do we pay for labor in this $72 pair of jeans. They would be lucky to get $2 for labor. What is the point in protecting that kind of labor when the real money is made elsewhere.

Those are the macro conditions that you can't and shouldn't try to fight against. You would be wasting too much effort in a losing struggle. But making sure Boeing keeps going is a much more strategic bet. That is the kind of effort that should be made.
