against a 17th Century peoples, mindset, Tribal society...
will not work in a million years, nothing new, British have been here, Russians have been here... now we are here...same mountains, same tribes, same family tribal leaders, same mindset.....
however....
a good training ground for our forces, good ground for developing new weapon systems, perfecting Drones other RC weapons...keeps some people working back in states...keeps a finger in the pot so to speak...keeps out Officer Corps tuned up....but at what cost.

In 3 years we will have a new leader, a new mindset... probably a new conflict or 2 somewhere....
History repeats and repeats and repeats....
Mankinds thinking has not yet progressed beyond Tribal thought...
