Your remark, of course, is demonstrably false.

As I pointed out in the earlier post, no major legislation in history has EVER passed under these conditions (i.e., less than majority support of the population, with the party in power control both houses, and their position OPPOSING the popular position). Never once has such a bill passed.

So, your claim that we would "never get anything done" has not one shred of truth.

I took the time to pose a thoughtful question. Why can you not at least think through your answer a bit? It would be nice if your answer had a little honesty in it as well.
