Nice dodge. You were caught with your ass waving in the wind when you misrepresented the article to make an erroneous point and now you're yelling "fire, fire" to make people forget. But I'll bite.

"Now tell us, Ed Almighty, what prevents domestic terrorists in the US from emplacing the same $10 IEDs on US highways and streets? What prevents them from making VBIEDs and blowing them up in shopping center parking lots??"

Very little other than passion and opportunity. You should consider that too few of us have seen our children blown into the air and hanging dead on telephone lines, our families killed and our country occupied. And, of course, explosives are strictly regulated in this country while Afghanistan is a lawless country with explosive devices on nearly every corner.

But if you think that you or I could not easily build, plant and detonate an IED device, even here, then you're wrong. Or maybe you've forgotten the Unabomber who made even more sophisticated devices that could fit through the mail and who got by with it for years even though the FBI was frantic to catch him. It was only his brother's recognition of his rantings that finally got him caught. Ed
