Hi Bob,

"I do not think that big drops let the big guys make
much money off the little guy" ***OFF TOPIC***

thank you for your reply. Except for the big guys we all get hurt.
The fund managers take a disturbance, add a rumour or two, and turn it into a maelstrom. By stepping out the market big time they just set the ball rolling, the sheep do the rest. Bear in mind, they got out at, or near the top.
The instigators got out at around $38, the sheep got on average $32 to $36, the stragglers with their "sell at market best" may have got as low as $28. Now the guys who instigated the drop now instigate the turn around by placing massive buys which catapulted QNTM from $28 to $32. (I bet nobody on this thread was able to get in at sub $29)
The guys who lost were the last of the sheep, and the likes of you and me who did nothing. Our averages are probably higher than the current $32/33 market price, so we have cash put on hold until things turn in our favour.
What really annoys bme however is that I saw all this comming and posted a warning shortly aftermidnight Sunday on this thread, AND DID NOTHING ABOUT IT. So much for forsight and convictions....

Regards
Alan
