1. Health insurance company profits are, by any measure, insignificant and immaterial in amount. It doesn't even visibly move the needle on health care cost.

IN 2008 TOTAL HEALTH INSURANCE COMPANY PROFITS WERE $8 BILLION. Or something less than 1/300th the cost of our health care. And for that tiny sum of money we get an entire health care financing system that the government doesn't have to run. An absolute bargain, anyway you look at it.

2. Administrative costs for private insurance companies are LOWER than administrative costs for Medicare or Medicaid.

So, your argument is TOTALLY without foundation.

So, what is my point? My point is that you ought to know this if you knew anything at all about this subject. Why, at this late date, are you still confused on this important issue?
