But is IS a complicated subject and not one you are capable of understanding.


In 2006, the nation's six biggest private health insurers collectively earned almost $11 billion in profits.


This could be accurate for six companies, which are the overwhelming majority of the industry. The total for the entire industry would have been roughly the same, or perhaps less than $11B.

Again, a totally insignificant amount of money given what we get in exchange.
