I'm willing to cut him some slack on timetable. He certainly is pushing for a number of his "promises" (not all which please me) like Gitmo, -- He just "pushed' Gitmo back into the future and is expanding new torture bases far from the prying eyes of the feeble "free press". --- Iraq, -- 4% increase in DoD. No exit strategy at all in Iraq but a promise to stay there indefinitely, if need be. Huge buildup coming in Afghanistan. A half dozen new bases in Colombia...What's not to like if you're a war freak that takes pleasure in seeing war vets abandoned on the streets back home? --- healthcare. -- Scrapping single payer in favor of the most massive sell out to an industry group since the housing bubble? --- He's already largely achieved the one that most interested me, not being an international jackass like W. -- So you prefer being screwed by a sweet talking Cassanova rather than a biker? The result is the same. Though i don't recall O promising not to be an international jackass.
