What is CORDIS
CORDIS, the Community Research and Development Information Service, is a European Commission information service providing efficient access to complete information on EU research and exploitation possibilities.
The European Commission's Fourth Framework Programme (1994-1998) funding research and technological developments holds more than 12 billion ECU, which is more than double the budget of the preceding framework. The Framework Programme is essentially aimed at helping European companies compete more effectively in today's global market.
CORDIS represents a central source of information crucial for any organisation - be it industry, SMEs, research organisations, universities - wishing to participate in the exploitation of research results, participate in EU funded research programmes and/or seek partnerships.
