now perhaps we don't care about the rapes in the Congo. but we like the 'stuff' they have that fuel our way of life.

If our military might was used to protect the rights of women....and now men in the Congo and prevent them from getting raped, I would have to think twice about my position. However, our military might typically is used to protect American interests.....particularly oil interests.....overseas. At one time, we could afford to do it.......those days are long over. IMO we have to realign our priorities.
