I agree. We made a committment. we have to at least do our best to see it through. and the whole "we can't afford" line should have been brought up when almost every American wanted to go in there in the first place. I do think most Americans believe in honoring a committment and realize we made one in Afghanistan. Obama can explain it and set a course towards doing it right by the people there. People here? they should have thought of the cost in '01.
