UUP and UNG could be the 2 best plays at the moment. Both the US dollar and the nat gas index are being punished for high inventory levels, especially since they are US assets. However, I have no doubt in my mind that there isn't plenty of demand for hard currency and energy. Time to revisit the Big Mac index, which shows the relative purchasing power of the dollar to other currencies.
