We found out this morning that Landrieu is holding out not for $100 Million, but for $300 Million. Reid is having to bribe the 60th vote to the tune of $300 Million to keep her on board.

For a Democrat, that's easy, I guess. To me, it looks desperate.

Easy? Obama could not be in a tougher spot. If the bill fails, it is his Waterloo.

If the bill passes, he loses not only the congressional majority, but loses so big his socialist agenda is stopped dead in his tracks.

His only alternative now is to try to push everything through in the coming 11 months, when you now have Democrats like Conyers saying, "We've had it. We're not going to keep sacrificing our political careers for this bastard Obama."

Nothing easy here. He's just another weak liberal president. Jimmy Carter all over again.
