The class that the lawyers are trying to establish is those that bought CityScape securities (common stock, puts, calls, etc.) commencing November 4, 1996 through and including October 22, 1997.

If you contact them, they will send you a very simple affidavit to fill out and return, along with a copy of the complaint and a biography of the firms experience with this type of litigation. The complaint is very damning of CityScape, and after reading the complaint I now believe that officers of CityScape withheld material information from us and engaged in some accounting trickery, causing a precipitous drop in price. Of course, large investors found out before the little guys, so we are left holding the bag.

From the biography, it is apparent that this firm has a lot of experience with securities class action lawsuits. I am in it, although I am still holding CityScape. There is a good possibility that the stock will bounce a bit after earnings, and then I will sell. In other words, the stock is too cheap to sell now, but I think that I can reduce my losses if I wait a week or two.

Note: I am not an attorney or financial advisor, and what I have expressed here are just my opinions.
