Which generation is running up the national debt? Which generation is sitting on most all of the offices of power? Which generation has driven the cultural changes over the last 40 years? Paying off Wall street is a one time impact on the debt. Creating long term social programs that create unfunded liabilities is quite a different burden on future generations. Anyone believe that the cuts in Medicare are really going to happen? How many other $300 million dollar bribes are senators going to extract before this rotten sausage crosses the finish line.
