I used calendar years and it looks like you used fiscal years. That's the difference. It's no mistake, but each does tell a different story.

The bottom line is that I think neither of us will dispute that we lived in fiscally conservative times during the 1990's because of Gingrich and Clinton. I say we should try to get back to those times and right now, I don't think the GOP or Dem parties are up to the task.
