... The bottom line is that $0.95 of every health care dollar in the United States is spent on treating illnesses and conditions after they occur. But very little is spent on prevention. And here's where it gets interesting.

About 75% of health care costs are accounted for by prostate cancer, breast cancer, heart disease, diabetes and obesity. These diseases are largely preventable and even reversible through preventative measures, i.e., lifestyle, nutrition and physical activity.

Prevention is simply one of the easiest, most logical, rational and cost-effective solutions you can embrace.

But how do you make money from prevention? Especially when everyone knows how much you can make from treatment....
