Joe ... I don't expect anybody else to look after my interests, but I do expect business partners to keep their side of the bargain, and live up to the promises they made. This is not an unreasonable attitude. What you call whining, I call justifiable anger. What most of us are doing on this thread is blowing off steam, venting our anger and frustration, because the real target is far away and doesn't seem to care. That's what the thread is for. If you are pleased with Schwab, why are you here? If you wanted a thread with stock advice, you picked the wrong one. This thread and a few others on SI have been useful to me in learning which brokers did the worst job recently. Schwab, despite it's higher commission schedule and glossy advertisements was one of the worst offenders. You are right that in a way this is a pity party, but so what? If you don't like the party ,why are you still hanging around? I'm sorry the rest of us are not a paragon of virtue like you.
I know that I'm crying over spilled milk, so this will be my last post. I've decided what to do to prevent this from happening again.
BTW, I hope your stock picking skills are superior to your English language skills. Your sentences run together, and you don't know the difference between "there" and "their".
