Cleaning up this mess is a process, not an event, and
it will be quite a lengthy process. It took us long to get
here, it will take long to get out. There is no quick fix.
The process will require a mentality change from all members
of the society, which I think has started, induced by the
crisis. It's not just the business of the Administration.
Both the elite and the middle class will have to adapt to
the new reality. For now it is disbelief, a belief that this
recession will give rise to a new boom shortly, that this
boom is already in progress. This won't
happen. The truth is, the system rotted to the core, and
the Administration simply can't save it. The process will
go on, and things will get worse, perhaps, a whole lot
worse, before they get better.
