That is pure nonsense, with all due respect. That was the whole point of the Scientific American article. Expert minds are made, not born.

And Berkely is a state university, maybe the finest in the world. Can't buy your way in there. Most nobel prize winners of any university in the world. You can only get into Berkeley with grades.

And my backgound is in experimental psychology. There are lots of types of intelligence. Some people are good at math and some are good at literature and minds are basically made not born. Some at physics, some at chemistry and some at humor.

Hardware without software is useless.

Why do you think we behaved like wild animlals until about 40 years ago? We were uneducated and thusly incapable of logical thought. One learns logic.

Education is the key to everything including the survival of the human species.!!
