I doubt it. He is attempting to "fix" the medicare problem,
which is bigger. I have no clue what will come out of it.
Someone has been reaping huge profits off the current
system. It is extremely costly relative to GDP. That someone
will do anything to keep them, including buying members of
the government and spreading any negativity possible toward the
reform. Public option will eliminate their profits. Public option
works in some countries, including North of the border. It has
its own set of problems. It will definitely require more taxes.
