Not interested in bears or bees? Hey, you brought it up. What about wolves then.

I read a book titled Never Cry Wolf by Farley Mowat in the 1970's. It opened my eyes to some of the odd myths we assume about nature. Wolves don't attack humans per fairy tails and they are responsible for keeping herds healthy. They glean only the sick and otherwise unfit animals from herds that would other wise quickly become diseased and over populated.

A new a theory suggests a symbiotic relationship between ravens and wolves. It seems ravens will actually make calls that signal the wolf packs wolf packs with regards to prey.

Most organisms in our North American Forests and around the world have complex networks of mutually beneficial relationships occurring on every level from cellular to large animal predation. The concept of cruelty in nature or immorality of non-human creatures is a ludicrous Disneyfictation of reality.

There is no good reason for human beings to adapt the beastial nature of other creatures. There is also no good reason to put our nature onto them, as we go about clicking our tongues in disgust over it.
